Lady Chereece, our Chapter Community Beautification Chair, along with Gotham Chapter Ladies & Top Teens joined our Community Partner, Valley Stream Beautification Committee to remove invasive plants, trim back trees and create a protective mound for squirrels and other wild life for the winter.
Beautification
Gotham Chapter enjoys beautification and especially planting. We joined the Valley Stream beautification team to plant flowers in Valley Stream State Park.

Gotham Chapter has had an Adopt -A- Highway since 2006.
Gotham Chapter partnered with Preparatory Academy for Writers on the Springfield Gardens Campus to create a community garden through the Sodexo grant to stop hunger and plant apple trees. Thank you Dr. Michele Charles for partnering with TLOD.
